30th August 2019:
Absolutely beautiful cottage in a stunning location. Everything clean and to hand, and very comfortable.
Tips:Don't miss the Catholic Church at the north end of the village. Surely one of the most extraordinary churches in the whole country, with a fascinating history.

8th April 2019:
Enjoyed our stay at stoke cottage very much. The cottage was very comfortable and spacious with all the amenities required for a comfortable stay. It's walking distance to local pubs came in handy as well as bring able to walk to the coast in 15 min. Its nice being on a bid route and its close proximity to lotd of nice towns, coastal drives/walks and tjomgd to do. The only thing that we thought was a shame was the noisy busy main road through the lovrly village but otherwise loved it all. Heather the host for the cottage Was extremely accommodating and always responded quickly to any questions I had.
Tips:The local pubs the George in Chideock as well as the anchor in seatown were both very nice friendly pubs with fab food and service and both are dog friendly. The anchor gets extrem Ely busy though so get there early if you plan to get a seat! Bridport is a lovely market town worth a visit and the hive beach cafe in Burton Braddock is nice for coffee/lunch/cake and is right on the beach. Abbotsbury is a lovely little village near chessel beach and well worth a visit even if just for the beautiful drive along the coast.

Don't search to far for a good meal of drink. The George In, the Clock of the Anchor by the Sea are at a walking distance.

3rd July 2018:
Excellent, quirky cottage, we loved it. Everything we needed for a weeks holiday We came with our dog and for us the garden area was disappointingly small, just a gravel area and picnic bench. Loved hearing the church bells!
Tips:Walk to The Anchor at Seatown, we loved the fish and chips! The George in the village has an excellent Pizza night on Thursdays Very useful village store, good prices and friendly staff. Chideock is a great base for exploring Dorset

28th February 2018:
We enjoyed our stay in the cottage. Beautiful and spacious house close to many local amenities and ideal to explore the Jurassic coast with children
Tips:The local pub (I think the name is the clock inn, just opposite the church anyway) serves excellent food at good price in a cosy atmosphere.
