Orchard End and The Old Coach House are situated in the beautiful village of Hooke, which is a 4 mile drive to Beaminster and just a 15 minute drive to the beach at West Bay. The Old Coach House is a typical Dorset cottage, built of stone which makes it cool in the summer and cosy in the colder months. Traditional features such as the living room wood burner sit side by side with modern facilities. Sleeps up to 8 and well behaved pet is welcome. Orchard End is a delightful bungalow located in a very pretty part of the village, backing onto the owners farmland and right beneath to the attractive hillside of Rampisham Down. It can accomodate up to eight people in the four comfortable bedrooms. A well behaved pet is welcome.

5th June 2019:

The bungalow was ideal for us, more spacious than expected and in a great rural location. We had everything we needed, and more.

Tips:

Some of our party were completing he South West Coast path and highly recommend the coast path, particularly the section round from Osmington Mills to Studland.

8th August 2018:

The cottage was very comfortable and suited the needs of our family of six. The village location was very quiet and it was close enough to explore the local attractions. The cottage facilities, crockery, utensils and oven were a bit tired but still perfectly satisfactory. The garden and surrounding area was ideal for our dog, Marley.

Tips:

The Hive at Burton Bradstock is a special place to eat by the sea, We went for breakfast and is was very good. Colmers Hill - great short walk and fine views. The shops and cafe at the bottom are very good, We also climbed Golden Cap, Catherine's Hill at Abbotsbury, Seatown, Eype Cove, Chesil beach and beach at Burton Bradstock. We also had a little look at the nature reserve just down the road at Lower Kingscombe and we wish we had longer to explore. The Fox at Corscombe is a nice country pub.

10th July 2018:

A very nice and clean bungalow with plenty of space. Great facilities and very comfortable. Really enjoyed our stay. Pauline was very friendly and helpful.

Tips:

we travelled about a lot . Monkey world ,Bridport, and lyme Regis all fairly near by. It is very rural so driving is a must and the roads are very narrow but we enjoyed it.

"Orchard End" is an excellent property; comfortable, clean and very well equipped. The location is peaceful but with easy access to local attractions. We had a very warm welcome from the owner. I would highly recommend a stay.
